Also, spent the last few days watching Kingdom. Why didn't anyone tell me that I should watch this? It is such a cool show. Also, watched Harper's Island which turns out to be betther than expected. Which doesn't really say a lot. :)

And yes, I changed my mind again about friending/defriending of the DW/LJ double users simply because I am saddened by not seeing all the comments for those who allow commenting on both Journals. So, I will have to continue reading each entry twice. *g*

The Pirate Party still needs about 700 signatures in Rheinland-Pfalz and 800 in Hessen which really should be doable in the next 40 days or so we still have. (I actually thought their chances to be allowed for the Bundestagswahl were slim to none but now I'm not so sure...)

I'm planning to send my signature in this week so if anyone close by wants to drop it off at my place, I can send it together with mine (for those not wanting to spend the money for postage *g*).

So I basically am friending loads of people right now, because I really feel the need to fill this new clist (are we calling it clist now, or c-list or even circle-list - because all options sound kinda dirty y/y?) with Merlin people.

For now, I will probably crosspost though I am pretty sure that is only while I am getting settled. DW allows loads of ways to connect with LJ users that I will probably move here even if half of my flist will remain on LJ since I will still be able to have them friended and comment so yeah...

So, I survived the never ending new-years-colins-birthday-my-birthday-merlin-squee-party of awesomeness that lasted a very cool 3 days and was filled with loads of squeeing and much more How I met your mother watching than I expected (which was also awesome) and I will totally write more about that and post some pictures of our sparkly awesome cake and the Metacorn and everything else I took pictures of. For now though, since I almost missed the reveal....

So, about three million days later...I hope you all had am great time over the holidays.

We had a huge family fight, which is always great, but aside from that it was a small but nice family dinner. And I now have a pretty new Laptop ( that is so big you could nearly call it a desktop pc) which explains why I was a bit busy. Oh the joy of setting up a new pc!

And whee, tomorrow kat_fanfic is coming so we can do some Merlin squeeing and in between there will be this New years thing and yay for all of that.

And whee, I've got a great card from kriski. Thank you for that! And now, I'm back to work. Yay for christmas time at the Airport!

Finally redid my LJ layout a bit and now, it is awesome!:)

For those who were wondering how I got this beautiful piece of Merlin merchandise look no further than here: The Rasterbator (and yes, that is the title of the program) *g*

This little gem allows you to basically use any size picture and print it out as large as you want to without too much of a quality loss. If I had a wall free, I would have plastered them all over it! Since I don't I had to take down my McKay/Sheppard door of fannishness and replace it with Merlin. I did so with only a hint of regret I have to admit.

The Rasterbator basically will give you a pdf file with A4 pages that you can print out with any normal printer. If you do have the urge to get the full size printout I did (~ 9000x6000 px/80x60 cm) I can happily offer a png file you could use for that. You can download it here.

So, I think you can safely say: 1 Merlin poster: 12 €; 2 halfs of a christmas hat: 3 €; waiting for them to kiss beneath the mistletoe: priceless!

Favorite part: 14 =/=4. Because yeah, a 29 year old sleeping with a 4 year old might be considered rape (unless its a really smart 4 year old who already knows right from wrong). But really, everything above 10! How could that be rape. It's probably consentual. Really, I mean you live in a country where they treat kids like adults in the court system all the time. So it shouldn't come as a surprise that one might assume that of course a 14 year old can consent to sex. So could a 12 year old. Or a 10 year old. I mean how long do we want to keep them artificially young.

God, I'm kinda happy that I won't get to see Merlin anytime soon because right now all I want is scream about this!
